This change affects the scholarship scheme for IT4BI starting from student intake in September 2015. The application process and the admission requirements remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the Erasmus+ programme, in particular about eligibility conditions and scholarships, please refer to <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/erasmus-plus\/discover\/guide\/index_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\">the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.<\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"style2\">\n<h3>Tuition Fees and Scholarships<\/h3>\n<div class=\"style2_deco\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"\/it4bi\/medias\/images\/eu_flag-erasmus-_vect_pos.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1041\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1041 alignright\" src=\"\/it4bi\/medias\/images\/eu_flag-erasmus-_vect_pos-300x85.jpg\" alt=\"eu_flag-erasmus+_vect_pos\" width=\"123\" height=\"44\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Erasmus+ programme distinguishes students who are nationals or residents of Programme Countries and Partner countries. <strong>Programme countries students<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students who are nationals or residents of one of the 28 EU Member States: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, UK, Sweden, Bulgaria, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, and Croatia.<\/li>\n<li>Students who are nationals or residents of one of the following countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYRoM).<\/li>\n<li>Students who have resided or carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than 12 months over the past five years (counted backward starting from the end of February following the official deadline for application to the master) in any of the above countries. For applicants applying for student intake in 2016, this is the period from March 1, 2011 to February 28, 2016.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Students of <strong>Partner Countries<\/strong> are all other students.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Students fulfilling the eligibility criteria for both categories \u2013 e.g. students with a double nationality \u2013 must select the category of their choice. As a result, they are entitled to apply only to one of the two categories of scholarship at a time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For both categories, the following eligibility criteria for an Erasmus+ scholarship apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students applying for a JMD scholarship for a specific academic intake are not allowed to submit a scholarship application to more than three JMD consortia.<\/li>\n<li>Students who have already obtained a JMD scholarship, an Erasmus Mundus Master Course scholarship, or an Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate scholarship are not eligible to apply for an additional scholarship under the JMD action.<\/li>\n<li>Students benefiting from a JMD scholarship cannot benefit from another EU grant while pursuing their studies in an Erasmus+ JMD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Selected students will have to sign a <strong>Student Agreemen<\/strong>t prior to the student&#39;s enrolment in the IT4BI programme. The template of the Student Agreement can be found <a title=\"student agreement 2014\" href=\"\/it4bi\/medias\/pdfs\/student_agreement_20141.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ligne\">\n<div class=\"colonne premiere_colonne derniere_colonne\" style=\"width: 99.9%;\">\n<div class=\"colonne_deco\">\n<div class=\"style3\">\n<div class=\"style3_deco\">\n<h3>Tuition Fees<\/h3>\n<div class=\"style3_contenu\">\n<ul>\n<li>Partner Countries students: <strong>\u20ac8000 \/ year<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Programme Countries students: <strong>\u20ac4000 \/ year<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please note that these fees include national enrolment fees and the <a href=\"\/it4bi\/home\/students\/facilities-support-services\">insurance<\/a> cost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ligne\">\n<div class=\"colonne premiere_colonne derniere_colonne\" style=\"width: 99.9%;\">\n<div class=\"colonne_deco\">\n<div class=\"style3\">\n<div class=\"style3_deco\">\n<h3>Scholarships<\/h3>\n<div class=\"style3_contenu\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Erasmus+ programme provides EU-funded scholarships to students who have been selected by the consortia. Two categories of scholarships are available.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship for students from <strong>Programme Countries<\/strong> comprises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participation costs: 4,000 euros per year<\/li>\n<li>Travel costs: 1,000 euros per year<\/li>\n<li>Contribution to subsistence costs: 1,000 euros per month for the entire duration of the IT4BI programme (24 months maximum).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship for students from<strong> Partner Countries<\/strong> comprises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participation costs: 8,000 euros per year<\/li>\n<li>Travel costs: 2.000 or 3,000 euros per year depending on whether the student is resident of a country whose location is, respectively, less than or more than 4.000 km away from Brussels, the coordinating institution of the IT4BI programme. The place of residence will be verified on the basis of the provision of documents such as a residence certificate issued in accordance with the candidate&#39;s municipality normal registration rules or a certificate from the candidate&#39;s place of work, study or training issued by the employer or institution in question. Both documents must have been issued within 12 months before the IT4BI official deadline for student selection.<\/li>\n<li>Installation costs: 1,000 euros.<\/li>\n<li>Contribution to subsistence costs: 1,000 euros per month for the entire duration of the IT4BI programme (24 months maximum).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Contribution to subsistence costs will neither be given to scholarship holders for the periods of the IT4BI programme (study, research, internship, or thesis preparation) spent in the country of residence of the student, nor to scholarship holders from a Partner Country for the periods of the IT4BI programme spent in any Partner Country exceeding three months.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The participation costs covering the tuition fees are directly taken by the consortium. The remainder of the scholarship will be allocated to selected students as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two yearly instalments, each one covering half of the travel costs.<\/li>\n<li>One installment of 1,000 euros covering the installation costs for students from Partner Countries.<\/li>\n<li>Twelve monthly instalments of 1,000 euros for the subsistence costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will be paid by bank transfer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All scholarship holders will receive an insurance meeting the minimum insurance requirements of the Erasmus+ programme for JMDs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ligne\">\n<div class=\"colonne premiere_colonne derniere_colonne\" style=\"width: 99.9%;\">\n<div class=\"colonne_deco\">\n<div class=\"style3\">\n<div class=\"style3_deco\">\n<h3>Erasmus+ Master Degree Loans<\/h3>\n<div class=\"style3_contenu\">\n<p>Erasmus+ Master Degree Loans enable potential IT4BI students to gain access to loans to support their studies. The loans are up to 18,000 EUR for a 2-year Master such as IT4BI and can cover both living and tuition costs.
